Mural underway for Cross Village

You may have noticed progress being made on a fabulous mural in the village, by artist @marcus vallböhmer. We are so excited to see it underway.

Foleys Bar in conjunction with Cross Tidy Towns group have jointly commissioned this amazing art work which is being painted as we speak onto the shed wall at Foleys by the very talented Marcus.

Embracing our significant ties to our local club Naomh Eoin Gaa and its first historic gathering at the Bridges of Ross in 1974 .. while simultaneously celebrating our local scenic beauty, the piece will be sure to resonate with locals & visitors far and wide.

Huge thanks first and foremost to Patrick and Stephanie Foley, to the Cross Tidy Towns committee and to Naomh Eoin and to Kilballyowen Development also for their helpful contributions. This will be a wonderful addition to the village and the peninsula as a whole when it's finished.
