Cross Tidy Towns up 12 points

The Volunteers at Cross Tidy Towns want to acknowledge and thank all those who have helped this year with fundraising, sponsorship and general maintenance help such as weeding, planting, painting and tidying up the village. The mural painted on the wall at Foley’s shed by artist Marcus Vallboehmer, has been widely admired and the Tidy Towns judges were quick to point out how much they loved it.

Overall the tidy towns committee were thrilled to receive an extra 12 points, to bring their total marks up to 290 points this year, 2025 - and to have also received a glowing report for their work in the village.

We can all be proud of how the village is coming along and thank you to all who have played a part in that.
